dc.description.abstract The new information and communication technologies help developingcountries to offer necessary services for the community which could not have theseservices with the traditional ways. We conducted a research and found that inAlbania exist underserved people in terms of access to financial services. As a resultan information system is needed for financial services inclusion. We considerdifferent experiences in other countries in similar situation to see what will be thesolution to address this issue. Innovative solutions are used in the world to offersfinancial services in a way that is safe, affordable and convenient for all. Theseinnovative solutions differ from each other in three fundamental ways: technologyplatform; user interface and wireless communications channel; provider of thesolution. After a study we made we found that in Albania the most appropriatesolution in terms of technology platform used is the solution that needs a mobilenetwork in the system and a mobile phone for the customer and agent.Analyzing the data collected using the direct-contact method with therepresentatives of possible providers and consulting different sources of informationwe will find the most appropriate solution in terms of the user interface and wirelesscommunications channel.
