dc.description.abstract Nowadays there are a lot of image processing methods that offer a lot of different things. One of them is MATLAB, which is a software that provides a high level programming language combined with a lot of libraries and an easy Graphic User Interface. Here we look at MATLAB’s Image Processing Toolbox and its capabilities and building GUI using the GUIDE tool. Using these two libraries we will build an application capable of processing images, our focus will be on medical imaging, more specifically finding and comparing the cells in images. The solutions and ideas presented here are open for interpretation and further development. en_US
