dc.description.abstract | The use of case studies in education is an effective teaching method and learning vehicle. This paper introduces a brief history of case study, types of case studies, and the strengths and weaknesses of case studies. This paper indicates that case study based learning promotes learning processes and stimulates students to be a part of the process and focus on the cause-effect relations. This paper concludes that case studies improve cognitive skills of students and have positive impacts on students’ critical thinking and on their effective problem- solving skills. | en_US |
