With the beginning of the World Wide Web, enormous information and
sensitive data have become readily available anywhere. Today's world is transformed
into an environment that always requires new data amounts collected from the web
worldwide.
These last years this demand dramatically was periodically increased. The
need for more data leads companies to invent and use web-scraping using
programming language scripts that will continually explore and get information from
different websites worldwide.
In the right hands, this technique was used to provide valuable information
used in data science, but in the wrong hands, this technique was used to collect
sensitive data that affected the big E-commerce websites by collecting sensitive
information and displaying them on the opponent websites. This damaged the
authority and data integrity of the different web applications worldwide.
This project identifies the problem of web-scrapping, the methods used to
prevent web scraping, and the procedures used to accomplish the paper objective. |
