dc.description.abstract The threshold concept of the evolutional theory, otherwise known as Darwinism,is a crucial concept to be identified and properly handled in the learning of history inAlbania. The rejection of history learning is often connected to the subconscious beliefof the learners that the past is inferior from the present, in terms of human intellectualdevelopment, and history which deals with the past cannot offer lessons for the future, expect through its mistakes that are to be avoided. This threshold concept shows up indifferent aspects of the learning history like linear thinking of the human development, intellectual progression, projection of the present thinking to the past etc.
