Abstract:
This study analyzes the impact of diversity and inclusion (D&I) approaches on employee
engagement, creativity and organizational success in 200 employees of technology and
telecommunications companies (Vodafone, one, Abissnet, digicom, etc.) and service
technology (Teg, QTU, Toptani, Prestige Home, etc.). The study focuses on how D&I
programs - such as diversity in recruitment, inclusion as a core value, and addressing
unconscious bias - impact important employee outcomes across several industries in
Albania, using quantitative methods, using a questionnaire. Using a mix of correlation
and linear regression analysis, the study reveals significant relationships between
diversity in recruitment strategies and improved employee engagement rates, as well as a
favorable link between diversity and innovation. The results further underscore the need
for inclusion as a core organizational concept, further highlighting how inclusive
practices generate a more engaged and efficient workforce. The study also examines how
HR policies can encourage fair development opportunities, assess diversity indicators and
help eliminate any bias in pay and promotion rules. The study also addresses employee
feedback on D&I (Diversity and Inclusion) projects spread across several departments
and divisions within companies, thereby exposing areas where procedures could vary and
offering adjustments to support sustainability.
